[cw-discuss] cannot print on KDE print system/wine ps driver

Hi

recently I updated all the PCs (from mdv 2005LE and mostly cxoffice 4.2) 
in the office to Mandriva 2006.0 and crossover pro 5.0.3.

For some reason there are problems printing to the KDE print system as 
well as the wine PS driver. The error message is:
"Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup." 
in Word XP and Powerpoint says: The printer "KDE Print System" cannot be 
found.

Printing using the detected cups printers works fine.

We use the KDE print system as a way to make PDFs (although I've heard 
that they are not very compatible pdf files, esp. for printing).

It could be that an old setting in the registry doesn't get updated for 
the newer version of crossover or that something has changed from 
mandriva 2005 to 2006, but I'd really like to know a good way[*] of 
making PDF files, regardless of the cause ;-)

[*] good way == using graphical interface in a way the slightly above 
average PHB can handle ;-)
