As someone who does a little/lot dabbling with web development I have
a suggestion. If you see a site that is not cross platform compatible
please email the webmaster and let them know how you feel. I strive
to make sure all my pages render properly...Interestingly enough it is
quite often IE that causes me the most grief (I have to go back and
write specific things to overcome MS's lax adherence to standards).
Again until CX gets IE working perfectly, which I am certain will
happen, drop a note to the webmaster and ask them to ensure their
websites are cross plaftorm compatible. If enough folks use their
voice than these parts of the world that don't care about platform
independence will start writing/using crossplatform compatible code
and apps. I guess I should kick my soap box away...
