Libronix has a rather large user base in the windows world, there are
a group of mac devotee's who have been holding out for nearly two
years now at the supposed release of a mac version of the software.
The company keeps saying they're going to release on and then don't.
Anyhow, that's why Crossover is appealing, many of these folks have
spent so much money on Libronix and their libraries that go with it
that they are willing to do anything to get it to run on their Mac.
Older folks are using VirtualPC explicitly for Libronix, and folks
like myself are running Parallels to the same end. I am on a
Libronix-mac mailing list and with the information about Crossover
they all got excited and went through the roof, but no one has been
able to pull off getting it to work. So there is a lot of interest
if this app can be run. The app is listed in the database and from
the looks of it someone has gotten it to run on Linux - but with the
Mac, thus far, no success.
Pax.
