I've tried several things... I've installed Libronix in each of the
type of bottles, with IE 5.5 (bundled in the Libronix installer) and
IE 6. I've tried DLS 2 and 3 to no avail. The installer seems to
call some other executable, and for some reason can't get there so it
quits, reboots and nothing is finished. If you've ever watched the
installer before you'll know what I mean by calling another
executable and launching it (specially if you watch the processes
window). I also tried copying and pasting, after running the latest
installer, my Libronix directory from a working Windows copy into a
directory for Crossover to do its thing. No luck. I got farther
though, the load screen pops up (LDS.exe) but again it doesn't seem
to call over to LDSexe.exe and finish the job.
I know some other folks have tried Libronix on WINE with many
problems, I myself have not gotten 2.0 or 3.0 to run in WINE - but I
also haven't been fiddling around with it for eons either.
Anyhow, that's the 4-1-1 on my attempts.
Pax.
