I believe so.  If you are having trouble you can try to make a soft
link in the dos devices folder in your particular bottle to the
applicable COM port in /dev

The printer port on the other hand, is another story... I have tried
in vein to get this one old application to work right.  On Windows, it
installed this .sys file so that Windows/NT/2000/XP could have direct
access to the LPT1 port.  I for the life of me can not get this to
work in XO.  I have tried doing the device mapping, as mentioned in
the WINE users guide but nothing...  Anyway.  Good luck!
