[cw-discuss] problem with Quicktime and ITunes

Hi,

I just installed the latest beta of cx office 6 and installed ITunes
(which installs quicktime 6)

The weird thing - both of them seems not to have any connection to the
network although the system has connection, and everything works
(Firefox, konqueror, ssh etc).

For example: trying to access the Radio function in iTunes simply
shows a dialog that it cannot connect to the network.
Another example: trying to play a trailer using FireFox from the Apple
trailers web site gives a broken movie icon.

Is this a known problem?

Machine: Pentium 4, 2.8 Ghz, CentOS 4.4 (final) + all the updates.
