Several things for you to try.  First, I find that if I go
into the CUPS configuration (gnome-cups-manager for me),
I can add a 'print to PDF' printer right into cups.

That, then, becomes a choice when printing in CrossOver,
and I can just pick that printer, and I get a file in
~/PDF that I can move around.

Alternately, if you prefer to use an LPT port and kprinter,
