I run Debian  etch, plain ole 32 bit, and cannot get iTunes to run.  It 
spawns so many processes that memory runs out, and trying to do 
anything else causes skipping.  Running another prog is, of course, 
impossible.  I used to run Gentoo, and assumed then that the problem 
was somehow endemic to it.  But it recurs under Debian.  I tried the 
beta, but experienced the same problem.  My Debian is a stock install, 
nothing special.  I wonder if other Debian users run iTunes 
successfully, and if so, if anything special was done.  Thanks.
