Nice try but I did within an existing bottle:

cd /home/frank/.cxoffice/ventrilo/drive_c
ln -s /home/frank/mnt/THEODIN/pbs113 pbs113
ls pbs113
pbs113@

I believe the problem is due to the fact that
/home/frank/mnt/THEODIN/pbs113 is a smb mounted directory.

I tried copying pbs.bat to the bottle under both drive_c and Windows but
that didn't work either:

[frank at merlin pbs113]$ "/opt/cxoffice/bin/wine" --cx-app "pbs.bat"
--bottle ventrilo
wine:error: could not find 'pbs.bat' in
'/home/frank/.cxoffice/ventrilo/drive_c'. Is it installed?

I find it interesting that I have an icon on my desktp the executes:

"/opt/cxoffice/bin/wine" --workdir
"/home/frank/.cxoffice/dotwine/fake_windows/Purolink"
"C://Purolink//Purolink.exe"

and that works.

But this doesn't:

"/opt/cxoffice/bin/wine" --workdir "/home/frank/mnt/THEODIN/pbs113"
"Y://mnt/THEODIN/pbs113/pbs.bat"

I really don't understand this bottle thing. At first it sounded like a
great idea but now it's just a major nuisance.

Thanks for the post.
