Here's the story so far:

Installation crashes with: ''m:\setup.exe executable 'M:\setup.exe' had
the following unrecoverable error: unable to open 
c:\windows\system\kernel32.dll''

Okay, so, looking over the various cxoffice setup scripts, it appears 
each 'unsupported' bottle contains, what, the files copied from:
/<user>/.cxoffice/bottle/drive_c/windows/system?

So, prior to starting the install, do I just stuff a Kernel32.dll into
that sub-directory? If so, which one?

This Quickbooks is for Win2000 and WinXP, if that matters.

The files being used by cxoffice appear to be dated 1998 or so ... NT4 
by any chance? (this from Midnight Commandering through them looking for
any useful identifying text)

trash can.
