Steven,
I'm not using Fedora Core 4 but Ubuntu 5.10 "Breezy". I'm having the exact
same problem. I have had a working installation in the past. I upgraded from
"Hoary" last week and just started working to get cxtest up and running
again this morning and noticed this problem. I'm not sure what specific
static library it is looking for but have been unable to identify a package
that offers a solution. I wonder if there is a problem with the configure
script that is causing it to miss this dependency or if there truly is a
missing static lib?
