I am very happy to announce that we have shipped version 6.1
of CrossOver Mac and CrossOver Linux.

Version 6.1 includes a lot of improvements from 6.0; while many
applications should be affected by these improvements, the
biggest improvements will be in Outlook 2003 as well as in our
3D game support.

The major change in Outlook includes support for RPC over HTTP,
to enable people the check their email from outside the office.
There is also a wide range of other bug fixes and minor
improvements in Outlook.

We've added support for EVE Online, and more games available
through Steam (such as Call of Duty 2) now work. We've
also polished our 3D game support so that all of our supported games
should be more enjoyable.

We fixed a major bug in FrameMaker 7.1 on the Mac, so we now think that
it's usable under CrossOver Mac.

There are many other improvements; many of which are listed
below, in our change log.

If you are an existing CrossOver customer with an active support entitlement,
you should be able to visit our web site to download this latest version:
  www.codeweavers.com
You will need to log in with the email and username that you used when
purchasing CrossOver.

Once logged in, you should be able to go to 'My Downloads'
to download this release, presuming you are a customer on active support
(you can review your purchase history on your account tab as well).
If you have questions or need some help, please feel free to
drop an email to sales at codeweavers.com, where we'll do our best to
help you.

We recommend that anyone who is interested in CrossOver first
download a trial version and make sure that it works well for you;
trials are available front and center on our main web page,
at www.codeweavers.com. You can download a new trial of 6.1.0
even if your 6.0 trial had expired.

We greatly appreciate all of the support we have received
from our customers.

We're looking forward to the rest of 2007 as we work furiously
to improve Outlook, many of the Adobe applications, and work
to enable many more games to run properly.

Finally, we greatly appreciate our beta testers who have been
so helpful throughout all of our 6.X testing cycle; we could not
make CrossOver without them.

Cheers,

Jeremy White
