Hi Folks,

I'm happy to announce that we have shipped verison 4.1 of
CrossOver Office, which has some pretty dramatic fixes
for iTunes, particularly when run on a 2.6 kernel machine.

This is largely a bug fix release; I've put a full changelog
in line, below.

As always, we strongly recommend backing up before upgrading,
and don't feel any need to upgrade if you have a good,
working system.

But we feel pretty good about this release; we think we've
gotten a lot of little niggling bugs out, and our testing
has come up cleaner on this release than on any we've done
in recent memory.

I want to thank all of our beta testers and advocates that have
helped us to test this release - without their help, we couldn't
have the confidence we need to ship.

Again, to download a new version, simply go to our web site:
   www.codeweavers.com
and log in with your email and password, and the click on the
'My Account' button in the upper right hand corner, followed
by the 'My Downloads' link on the left hand side of the page.

You'll be happy to know that we're already hard at work on
5.0, with Office 2003 support. We're also seeing that the
major Window management overhaul that Alexandre is in the middle
of is addressing a lot of the nasty painting issues we've had
through the years, so that will be exciting to bring you next year.

We're also ready to launch a whole new set of tools around
regression testing and broader Wine testing; I'm hopeful that
next year is the year that Wine really hits is 'tipping' point,
with most things starting to 'just work'.

At any rate, I wish you all the best; I thank all of our customers
for their support, and hope you all have a good new year.

Cheers,

Jeremy White
